Acceptable Use
Our internet and network services may be used for:

- Business research and information gathering
- Cloud-based business applications and services
- Video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Reasonable personal use that does not interfere with business operations
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal Activities: Any activity that violates local, state, or federal laws
- Excessive Bandwidth Usage: Streaming, downloading, or uploading large files that significantly impact network performance for other users
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access, modify, or damage network infrastructure, servers, or other users' systems
- Malicious Software: Distributing viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code
- Spam and Mass Email: Sending unsolicited bulk emails or participating in email spam campaigns
- Network Attacks: Conducting denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or network penetration attempts
- Piracy: Downloading or distributing copyrighted materials without authorization
- Cryptocurrency Mining: Using network resources for cryptocurrency mining operations
- Illegal Content: Accessing, storing, or distributing illegal or obscene materials
- Network Circumvention: Attempting to bypass network security measures or access restrictions
Bandwidth and Network Resources
We provide high-speed internet to all tenants and members on a shared basis. To ensure fair access for everyone:
- Network usage should be reasonable and consistent with typical business operations
- Activities that consume excessive bandwidth may be subject to traffic management
- We reserve the right to implement fair-use policies to maintain network quality
- Large file transfers should be scheduled during off-peak hours when possible
Security Responsibilities
To maintain a secure network environment, tenants and members are responsible for:
- Keeping all devices and software up to date with security patches
- Using strong passwords and not sharing network credentials
- Running antivirus and anti-malware software on connected devices
- Promptly reporting any security incidents or suspicious activity
- Securing wireless devices and not creating rogue access points
Privacy and Monitoring
While we respect your privacy, we reserve the right to:
- Monitor network traffic for security, performance, and compliance purposes
- Investigate suspected violations of this Policy
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
- Block access to malicious or harmful websites and services
We do not routinely monitor the content of individual communications, but network metadata may be logged for operational purposes.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Policy may result in:
- Warning and requirement to cease the prohibited activity
- Temporary suspension of network access
- Permanent termination of network services
- Termination of office rental or membership agreement
- Referral to law enforcement authorities when appropriate
- Legal action to recover damages or costs
The specific response will depend on the nature and severity of the violation.
Service Availability
While we strive to provide reliable internet service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any business losses resulting from service interruptions.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this Policy or experience network issues, please report them immediately to Early Birds, LLC.
